We're once again bringing it back to the basics! This class is a great opportunity for new joiners to start slow and learn some basic burlesque movements. How to walk, how to bump, how to shimmy, and more.

Character & Choreo
July & August
The Character & Choreo Showcase Session is mostly for those who are preparing an original piece for our Student Showcase. BUT if you'd like to join without the intent of performing, that's ok too!
For those performing:

Confirmation of the number of pieces being performed is required by July 5th.

Confirmation of your music is required by July 26th.

Filming the rehearsal of your piece for the lighting tech will take place on or by August 9th.

Performers of a unique creative piece MUST attend at least 4 of the 6 classes. Please let us know which dates you will be with us.

MasterClass
July 28
Level up your performance with focused feedback from teacher and performer, Kitty DeVine!
Come to class with a short choreography (maximum 45 seconds), and be prepared to perform it several times in a row while getting focused feedback and coaching in between each run. When done, sit and watch your peers go through the same experience.
This process not only allows you to have direct feedback and coaching on a piece you've created, but also gives you the opportunity to watch and provide your own general feedback for others.

Flirt From The Floor
September 6, 13 & 20
One of our favourite sessions is back! Get a double core workout in this class with a warm-up at the beginning, then when working on the floor choreo. Don't underestimate how much strength you need to move on the floor!

Drop-In: Vegas

Feel like a burlesque star in our very first Vegas drop-in class! You'll work the classic burlesque moves like shimmies and step bumps with your satin gloves and boa/scarf. By the end you will be yearning for the big stage!
